&pageText=The locations of halts and rest stops should be determined during the route reconnaissance. Coordinate the security measures to be used at halts and rest stops with the convoy commander. The location of halts should be:& &bulletText1=In a relatively secure area& &bulletText2=Off of the roadway& &bulletText3=Under the surveillance of the security force& &bulletText4=Conducted in locations where there is an unobstructed view for 200 meters at each end of the convoy& &bulletText5=In an area that is large enough to maintain the convoy interval& &bulletText6=In an area that is not heavily populated& &bulletText7=Where local civilians can be kept away from the convoy& &bulletText8=Where host nation police can be present at the halts&
